On a lovely blazing hot day, we took a coach trip to this area, which is an unspoilt beach, with a shallow stretch of sea, leading to a similar island. I have been told off for describing this as a tropical Southport! There is just a car park, two beach bars and a lot of sunbeds, facilities which were there for this holiday, but have subsequently been removed.





Below, is the walk across to the island. The water comes up to no more than thigh deep for an adult, and is not tidal. The sand is firm, but soft, and is pink because of shell fragments in it.
