The Villa Letizia, like many reasonably priced hotels, is up in the hills above Sorrento, with transport to and from the town four times per day, bookable. There was also a bus service, as our road led to a mountain village above. The property itself was a brewery and an olive press. This picture, taken from their leaflet, is fairly true apart from the absence of people.

The bar (right) is off the main dining room, and some of the genuine artefacts from brewing or olive pressing are still on show.

The main dining room, where, as is the custom in Italy, you are allocated a certain table, and you keep to it, as your extras bill is based on that number.

This must be the olive press...

Below, a publicity picture, but which shows exactly how the buffet was set out on the bank holiday during the week we were there, the day we went to Naples. Normally they served freshly made hot Italian food, no chips here.

This is the room where the Gala Night was held, although the pool was covered to make a stage. Although there is a glass roof, it couldn't quite cope with the thunderstorm!

One of my photos now, the view down from the restaurant terrace to the town of Sorrento.
The view uphill, to a farm now converted to a holiday home, with noisy barking dogs...
Below, the annexe, where the staff lived downstairs, and us upstairs.
Part of the restaurant terrace, from the lovely town view was taken...
Part of the gardens - behind the bushes here was a swimming pool, but it was only May, and not really warm enough for swimming - and no time, as we were out all 6 days.
Around the pool terrace, these bottle brush plants looked wonderfully exotic. I later found one in a front garden in Whittlesey!
Don't know what this is, but was also quite plentiful...
